Our Story

My name is Andrew Adams, I’ve been with Victoria Police for 37 years and I suffer from PTSD, Depression and Anxiety.

During my hospital stay I designed the Keep Holding On remedial bracelet, as I felt it would benefit me and others with PTSD. I wore the prototype during this time and since then, I've never taken it off.

Not only does it act as a fidget, but it’s also a reminder that you are not alone and to keep holding on. There is a red strap on the band as a prompt to STOP, when you are heightened.

With my family’s support, we ran a fundraiser and raised the money to produce the bracelets. It was hugely supported by my local community and raised significant funds.

I now have bracelets to gift to Victoria Police, Fire and Ambulance Officers suffering with PTSD. If you or someone you know might benefit by receiving one of these bracelets, please reach out to us.
